Japan Ceramic Planter Figurine Vintage Import Pottery Vase
This lovely planter vase out of Japan is designed as a woman in a flowing, flowery dress, wearing a bonnet, and holding a basket (the planter). All done in creamy colors, she is wonderful!
Pattern /Dates ~ mid-century, c1950.
Measurements ~ approximately 8 x 4".
Hallmarks ~ marked with a patent number, as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. Outside of crazing and some mild shelf wear, this piece shows little evidence of age or use. She may have a couple of flea marks on the rim of her bonnet, but I believe these to be from the manufacturer, as they appear to be under the glaze (see last picture).
