This lovely milk glass piece by Westmoreland is done in the pansy basket pattern whose rim is decorated w/pansy flower petals. This bowl has the highly sought after split handles that are ribbed.

Measurements ~ approximately 4.5" wide.
Dates/Pattern ~ mid century; pattern retired and in production c1950-1975 (because this piece is unmarked, I believe to be an early production c1950-1955).
Westmoreland was founded in Pennsylvania in 1889, with its milk glass production beginning c1940. Westmoreland's furnaces went dark in 1984.
Hallmarks ~ unmarked, identified via pattern and shape, as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. This piece shows little evidence of age or use and displays phenomenally. It is chip/flake free.
