Wedgwood Blue & White Jasperware Kidney Box from England Neoclassical Container Vintage 1970s English Designer Gift, Vintage Wedgwood Collectibles
This gorgeous blue jasperware covered trinket box by Wedgwood is done in a kidney shape and decorated with stunning neoclassical white relief. The top depicts 3 handlers wrestling a Pegasus. The sides are decorated with playful baby cherubs and an apple laurel band.
Measurements ~ approximately 1 7/8" tall x 2 3/4" x 3".
Dates ~ c1970.
Markings ~ impressed "Wedgwood Made in England 73", as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. This set shows little evidence of age or use and displays wonderfully!
