This breathtaking brooch by Coro's Vendome is designed with amber, almost caramel in color, hand-blown, petal-shaped glass beads (probably Murano/Italian). This beads surround and accent a large, central topaz rhinestone, which is set in a dog-toothed setting. This piece is further decorated w/topaz crystal beads and is finished w/a gold-toned, filigree back. Simply spectacular!
Measurements ~ approximately 2 3/8" x 2 1/8" x 0.75".
Dates - c1955-1970.
Markings - marked w/a cartouche stamped "Vendome", as seen in pictures.
Condition - Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. This piece shows little evidence of age or use, and it wears phenomenally!
