Noritake Nippon Toki Japan Square Cake Plate or Bread & Butter Dish Vintage Mid Century 1960s Japanese Designer Gift; Vintage Dinnerware by Noritake Japan ~ Floral Square Plate

This darling, dainty plate by Noritake is decorated with a gorgeous pattern of delicate purple, yellow, and pink flowers, and finished with a unique, square shape.

Measurements ~ approximately 6.5" across.

Pattern / Dates ~ late-century, 1962.  The pattern is unidentified.

The conglomerate that is the present day Noritake company can trace its origins back to the New York based trading company founding by the Morimura Brothers in 1876.  Today this company still produces high quality and decorative dinnerware with a rich, supporting history.

Hallmarks ~ marked as seen in the pictures.

Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique.  This piece shows little evidence of age or use.
