This charming brooch from Taxco, Mexico is done in sterling silver, is designed as a turtle, and is decorated with expertly inlaid abalone. This piece is oh so cute and quite the outstanding find!

Dates ~ c1948-1980.
Hallmarks ~ stamped "Taxco 925 TBR Mexico" with the Eagle 3 stamp, as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. While there is nice patina in the nooks and crannies, this piece shows little other evidence of age or use. It wears wonderfully!
