Stanger NY Belt Heart Crystal Rhinestone Filigree Vintage Designer Jewelry
This stunning crystal rhinestone belt by Stanger NY is designed with 2 crystal chains, is accented with a heart buckle & heart filigree findings, and is finished in silver tones. This piece was probably sold through Saks 5th Ave.
Note ~ this piece has a couple of construction attributes indicating it may have been made by DeLizza & Elster, but I never was able to verify it with Mr. DeLizza.
Measurements ~ approximately 35" with the heart buckle about 2.75" and the body about .75" wide.
Dates ~ c1970.
Hallmarks ~ marked with a cartouche "Stanger NY ©", as seen pictures.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. This piece shows little evidence of its age or use. However, the clasp on the heart is a little stiff.
