From one of California's most celebrated artists, Sascha Brastoff, this lovely, enameled ashtray (yes, I know... how can an ashtray be lovely, but we are talking about Sascha Brastoff here) is done in copper and has a green, enamel covering. This piece is decorated with a lovely floral spray and is a fabulous example of metalware.
Proudly made in the USA! Highly collectible and displays absolutely wonderfully. This piece is an ideal gift for the Sascha Brastoff collector, or as a hostess gift.
Note - the piece is more olive/avocado green than the golden color depicted by my images.
Measurements ~ 8" across.
Re-purposing ~ while I would never recommend a Sascha Brastoff be used as an ashtray, that is certainly your prerogative. However, this lovely and highly decorative piece can be used for display, as a trinket dish, or as a bon bon - the possibilities are endless, really

Condition ~ Great: pre-owned: vintage/antique. During its former life, this piece appears to have been used as an ashtray, and does suffer from some minor enamel damage at one cigarette holder (as pictured, but appears much worse in the close up than in real life). Otherwise, the piece is still amazing and truly a wonderful find.
