Antique Flora Ice Blue Radeberg Glass from Germany Square Ruffled Pressed Bride's Bowl Vintage 1800s German Designer Gift; Antique German Glassware ~ Flora Ice Blue Square Ruffled Pressed Glass Bowl from Radeberg
This amazing bowl was produced at the end of the 19th century in Radeberg, Germany and is done in the Flora pattern in ice blue, slightly glowing glass.
This incredible treasure is possibly a bride's bowl and extremely hard to find. This piece would make quite the unique and ideal wedding gift.
Re-purposing ~ while this piece is best left to display, it could also be used on the vanity table or entry hall table to hold trinkets and such.
Measurements ~ 7.5" across x 2.5" tall.
Pattern / Dates ~ turn of the 19th century c1890.
Hallmarks ~ unsigned identified online via an old German pressed glass catalogue.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. While this incredible piece does have a chip underneath the bowl on her foot (see last picture), this flaw is easily hidden and not unexpected for a glass of this age. Otherwise, this piece shows little other evidence of age or use.
