Wood Peg Boy & Girl Toy Doll from Poland Vintage Mid Century 1950s Polish Designer Folk Art Gift, Vintage Ethnic Dolls
This charming pair of blonde dolls, one boy and one girl, are made from wooden pegs, are folk art in design, and are dressed in ethnic clothing. The boy wears a blue outfit complete with cap. The girl wears a floral dress with a red felt, hooded overcoat. This couple is oh so darling!
Measurements ~ approximately 7" tall.
Dates ~ mid-century, c1950.
Hallmarks ~ unmarked; identified via type, shape, and design, as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Good: pre-owned vintage/antique. Both dolls show storage dirt/wear, mild staining, and moderate use marking. This set of dolls is nonetheless a unique and fabulous find, and does display wonderfully.
