Lovely, flowing engraving decorates this fantastic ice cream knife from Poland, used at a time when ice cream was cut from its block. The blade is gold washed and the handled is decorated with wheat and floral engraving. This is an amazingly nostalgic piece.
Dates ~ c1920-1963.
Materials ~ 80% silver, 20% other.
Weight ~ approximately 2.6oz.
Measurements ~ approximately 9.25" x 1 3/8".
Hallmarks ~ marked as seen in pictures. This mark was in use in Poland from 1920-1963.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. While this item shows use marks appropriate to its age, it shows little other evidence of age or use.
Note ~ I do not polish silver/silver-plate prior to shipping unless requested. Some clients prefer the patina intact when purchasing.
