This lovely vanity set is done on crisp, white linen, is decorated with phenomenal sprays of floral embroidery in pink, showcases exceptional handiwork, and is finished with a fancy, pink & white, crochet lace hem. This lot is simply charming and absolutely useful today.
The lot includes the following 8 pieces (in order of pictures).
- #2 small doilies ~ measure approximately 5" round
- #1 wavy edge doily ~ measures approximately 8.75" round; light stain on hem
- #1 large doily ~ measures approximately 9.5" round
- #1 flat back, pin tray doily ~ measures approximately 14.5" x 6.75"
- #1 oblong, pin tray doily ~ measures approximately 14" x 6"; minor hole on one side (see last picture)
- #2 flat back, lamp doilies ~ measure approximately 6" x 6.75"
Dates ~ mid-century, c1960.
Hallmarks ~ unsigned beauties, as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. Outside of what is mentioned above, this set shows little other evidence of age or use.
Notes on Condition of Linens ~ Linens offered here are more than 20 years old and have been loved. While linens are clean, they not been recently laundered, spot treated, or pressed prior to shipping. Linens may be creased from storage. These great old beauties may just need a little TLC.
