Made during the occupation of Japan following World War II, this stunning demitasse cup and saucer is done in brilliant blue panels that are accented w/gold and rose floral sprays. Finished w/a touch of moriage, this piece is hard to find and quite the treasure!
Highly collectible and displays absolutely wonderfully; perfect for set matching and completion; an ideal gift for the Occupied Japan collector - or as a hostess gift.

- saucer ~ approximately 5" across
Pattern / Dates ~ mid century; c1946-1955. During the years following WWII, when America "occupied" Japan, wares made in, and exported out of, Japan had to be marked as such.
Hallmarks ~ signed as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. This piece shows little evidence of age or use, and is chip/flake free. Shelf wear &/or use marking is minimal.
