This fabulous dinnerware by Noritake is done in the Rothschild pattern #7293 with delicate pink floral sprays, and rims finished in pale blue and silver.
This set includes 5 piece:
- cup ~ approximately 3" tall x 3.25" wide at the opening
- saucer ~ approximately 6" across
- bread & butter plate ~ approximately 7" across
- salad plate ~ approximately 8.25" across
- dinner plate ~ approximately 10.25" across
This item is perfect for set matching and completion or the Noritake collector.
Dates ~ late-century, c1985.
The conglomerate that is the present day Noritake company can trace its origins back to the New York based trading company founding by the Morimura Brothers in 1876. Today, this company still produces high quality and decorative dinnerware with a rich, supporting history.
Hallmarks ~ marked as seen in the pictures.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. With just a touch of wear along the rims, this set shows little other evidence of age or use.
