Antique Nippon Vanity Set Tray Jar Holder Vintage Designer China
This 6 piece Nippon set is decorated with a stunning blue floral design, that is accented in green. This set is further decorated with moriage on creamy porcelain. This set includes 6 pieces, as described below in the measurements report.
Dates ~ c1910.
Measurements:
- powder jar with lid ~ approximately 1.25" tall x 2.5" wide
- trinket jar with lid ~ approximately 1.5" tall x 1.25" wide
- hair/hat pin holder ~ approximately 2" tall x 2.5" wide
- tray ~ approximately 6" wide
Hallmarks ~ marked with the rising sun Nippon mark in blue, as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Great: pre-owned antique/vintage. This set shows little evidence of its 100+ years age, or use, except for the pin holder. The pin holder contains a chip and a crack, as seen in the last pictures.
Note ~ there is sticker residue present, as well as red felt on the bottom of the tray, as seen in pictures.
Note ~ antique/vintage glass and/or pottery may be dusty in nooks and crannies, may exhibit minor crazing, may contain minor sticker residue, and are only lightly cleaned. Because of the knock offs/fakes flooding the market, this helps you identify an aged, and thus authentic, vintage/antique piece.
