Vintage Sock Rag Dolls ~ Felt Dressed Mamma and Baby Toy
How adorable is this set of dolls! Made out of socks and dressed in red felt, mamma is holding her baby by her side, she wears a plastic lace apron, and both have blonde hair. These dolls look similar to the Bunka dolls of Japan from early century.
Measurements:
- momma ~ approximately 10" tall
- baby ~ approximately 4" tall
Dates ~ mid-century, c1940.
Hallmarks ~ unmarked, as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Great: pre-owned vintage/antique. While this doll set is showing storage dirt/wear, mild staining, and yellowing, the pair is nonetheless a unique and fabulous find!
