This fantastic salad set from Mexico is done in sterling silver and wrought with style. This set is finished with wooden handles, is full of vintage appeal, is a fabulous example of metal-ware, and was made during the late Depression/early War Years.
Measurements:
- spoon ~ approximately 12.5" in total length
- fork ~ approximately 12" in total length
Dates ~ pre-1948.
Markings ~ marked "HCL Sterling Hecho en Mexico DF Plata 925", as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. While this set could stand to use a good polish, it shows little other evidence of age or use and displays wonderfully. Dent free.
Note ~ I do not polish silver/silver-plate prior to shipping unless requested. Some clients prefer the patina intact when purchasing.
