Mesh Compact Bag Gold Crystal Makeup Mirror Purse Vintage Wristlet Depression Era Accessory Gift
These wonderful wristlets, from the Depression Era, are called mesh compact bags. This piece is done in gold mesh, is decorated with a crystal top, has a pale pink interior, and retains its original mirror.
Measurements ~ approximately 6" x 4" at the bottom x 3" across the top.
Dates ~ c1930
Hallmarks ~ unsigned, as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Great: pre-owned vintage. As can be seen in the pictures, this bag is showing slight staining on the top, as well as darkening of some of the crystals. Additionally, its chain is now missing, but this is an easy fix. This 'ole gal is still a wonderful example of 30s fashion and very useful today.
