Kaye of Hollywood/Kim Ward California Pottery Basket Planter Vintage Designer China
This lovely country girl in a pink top and blue dress, that is decorated w/dainty and delicate flowers, wears a scarf on her head and carries a basket that makes the planter portion of the figurine.
According to my research, this is a "Basket Lady Planter" that was first produced by Kaye of Hollywood, then later by Kim Ward
Proudly made in the USA!
Dates ~ c1950.
Measurements ~ approximately 5" tall.
Hallmarks ~ marked with an an impressed V/PC as seen in pictures. Identified via pattern and shape
Condition ~ pre-owned vintage/antique: Great. Outside of a glaze flake on the back (see pictures), and crazing common with a piece of this age, this item shows little other evidence of age or use. See pictures.
