JJ Sterling Silver Necklace Feather Collar Vintage Designer Fine South West Jewelry
I believe this to be a collar done by a First Nations artist, possibly Navajo. This piece is decorated with 3 feather charms and finished in sterling silver.
Measurements ~ approximately 4.25" across the inside with a 2.25" opening. The collar is .5" thick/tall. The feathers are approximately 1.25".
Dates ~ c1970.
Hallmarks ~ marked "JJ Sterling" as seen pictures.
Condition ~ Good: pre-owned vintage/antique. The collar itself may be bent, or may be purposefully shaped as seen in the pictures, and this piece is missing one feather (it originally had 4).
Note ~ I do not polish silver/silverplate prior to shipping unless requested. Some clients prefer the patina intact when purchasing.
