So amazing, and highly prized, is the jewelry by Scandinavian enamel artists. This piece, by the highly sought after, but hard to find, Hroar Prydz, hails out of Oslo and is designed as a beautiful bird in flight. Brilliant blue guilloche enamel decorates this 3D bird, with its wings separated. Done in sterling silver, this piece is simply amazing!
Measurements ~ approximately 1.5" x 1.25".
Dates ~ mid-century, c1950.
Hallmarks ~ signed "Sterling 925s Norway" with the greater than sign in a circle, as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Great: pre-owned vintage/antique. While there is missing enamel, especially on the tail, this jewelry shows little other evidence of age or use and wears phenomenally!
