An interesting piece to be sure, this lovely silver nail guard is made with exquisite filigree detailing, is decorated with what appears to be aventurine, jade, and amethyst stones, and is finished in gold vermeil over silver (some minor wear). This piece is most likely a Chinese import from the Depression Era.
Measurements ~ approximately 3.25" x .75" thick.
