This gorgeous, opaque, blue vase by Fenton is done in blue overlay, and is accented with wonderful melon ribs and a ruffled/crimped rim.

Highly collectible and displays absolutely wonderfully, this piece is an ideal gift for the Fenton Art Glass collector.
Measurements ~ approximately 5" tall x 6" wide.
Pattern / Dates ~ mid century; c1944-1955.
Fenton, one of the most famous American glass houses, was founded in Ohio in 1905, moved to West Virginia in 1907, and ceased its traditional glass making in 2011.
Hallmarks ~ unsigned, identified via pattern and shape, as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Great: pre-owned vintage/antique. While there is a manufacturing flaw on this vase (you can see in the pictures that some sand or dirt was fired into the glass during production), it's a small spot and can be easily hid in the back if necessary. Otherwise, there is little other evidence of age or use.
