Vintage Fenton Art Glass ~ Bicentennial Commemorative Plate #1 - G664A

Description ~ this is the "Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death" commemorative plate from the 70s depicting Patrick Henry's speech to the Virginia House of Burgesses in order to raise support for the American Revolutionary War, in which this famous quote was the closing line ~ done for the National Federation of Women’s Clubs

Proudly made in the USA! Highly collectible and displays absolutely wonderfully; perfect for set matching and completion; an ideal gift for the Fenton Art Glass collector - or as a hostess gift.

Measurements ~ approximately 8" across

Pattern / Dates ~ late century; c1973 - Fenton, one of the most famous American glass houses, was founded in Ohio in 1905, moved to West Virginia in 1907, and ceased its traditional glass making in 2011. Hallmarks ~ as seen in pictures

Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage - while there is shelf wear, and the need for a bath, this piece shows little other evidence of age or use, and is chip/flake free.
