Fenton Black Carnival Art Glass Craftsman Series Glassblower Plate Vintage 1970s American Designer Gift
This gorgeous carnival glass plate by Fenton is number 1 in a series of 12 commemorating American craftsman. This plate is the glassblower and began, in 1970, several series of limited edition carnival glass plates (the molds were destroyed at the end of each plate's year). This piece comes in its original box and retains its original paper label.

Highly collectible and displays absolutely wonderfully, and is perfect for set matching and completion. This piece makes an ideal gift for the Fenton Art Glass collector, or as a hostess gift.

Pattern / Dates ~ late century; c1970.
Fenton, one of the most famous American glass houses, was founded in Ohio in 1905, moved to West Virginia in 1907, and ceased its traditional glass making in 2011.
Hallmarks ~ signed and tagged, as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. This piece shows little evidence of age or use.
