Fenton Art Glass Handled Silvercrest Violets in the Snow Bon Bon Milk Candy Dish Vintage Mid Century 1960s American Designer Gift
This highly collectible piece by Fenton is done in milk white glass with a clear glass rim, known as silvercrest, and is decorated with stunning purple flowers This pattern, known as violets in the snow, is a design originally by Louise Piper. Deemed ware no. 7498-DV, this piece is finished w/a silverplated handle and was originally used to serve and/or display candies. This amazing piece is still of use today, in a wide varieties of ways, especially around the holidays.

Measurements ~ measures approximately 2" tall x 8" wide.
Dates ~ this pattern was in production c1968-1978. As there is no in-mold logo on this piece, this particular piece is c1968-1973.
Hallmarks ~ artist signed: Decorated by Michael Dickinsen.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. This piece shows little evidence of age, or use, and displays wonderfully.
