This wonderful nut or trinket dish is done cranberry glass and is decorated with a stunning, white enameled scene straight out of Eastern Europe. Probably Bohemian or Czech in origin, this piece is finished with a foot and simply spectacular! This piece could be a souvenir piece from St. Sophia Cathedral in Kiev.
Measurements ~ approximately 3.75" across x 1.25" tall.
Dates ~ early-century, c1930.
Hallmarks ~ unmarked, as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned: vintage/antique. While there is some yellowing to the enameling, this piece shows little other evidence of age or use.
