Coro jewelry is one of my favorites, and while a bit under-appreciated today, IMO, it's timeless and just amazing - this old piece is no exception! Decorated w/an Art Nouveau frame and accented w/seed pearls, this piece is highlighted by its central cameo: a transferware, Edwardian-age couple. On the hard to find side (and that's saying something for Coro), this piece is fantastic!
Measurements ~ approximately 1" x 1.25".
Dates ~ early-century, c1940.
Hallmarks ~ signed "Coro" in script w/the Pegasus symbol, as seen in pictures.
Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. While there is a nice patina on this piece associated w/age, and what appears to be polish residue w/in the backside, this jewelry shows little other evidence of age or use.
