This wonderful earthenware salad plate by Spode is done in the Camilla pattern in red with it's flowing, decorative flowers. This piece is done on white clay. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!

Dates ~ mid-century, c1942 (the impressed backstamp indicates this piece was made in July of 1942).
Hallmarks ~ marked in red "Spode's "Camilla" Copeland England 2" as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. While there is crazing on the backside, this piece shows little other evidence of age or use, and the pattern is unmarred. Chip and flake free; shelf wear &/or use marking is minimal, if any.
