Challinor Taylor Milk Glass Compote Closed Lattice Edge Antique Designer Vintage Bowl
This rather large and substantial compote by Challinor, Taylor & Company is done in dreamy milk glass (with that older, blue hue on the edges) and designed with a fabulous lattice work rim. This piece makes a wonderful bridal accent and could even be used on the gift table to collect cards, or anything you like.
This company was only in operation for a short period of time, so its wares are on the harder-to-find side.

This piece is highly collectible and displays absolutely wonderfully, and is perfect as a hostess gift.
Measurements ~ approximately 6.5" tall x 9.5" wide bowl x 4.5" foot.
Dates/Pattern ~ c1884-1891.
Hallmarks ~ unsigned; identified via pattern and shape as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. This piece shows little evidence of age or use and displays phenomenally. It is chip/flake free. It does need a good cleaning in the nooks & crannies.
