This lot of 6 hankies by Burmel was hand rolled in the Philippines, are all embroidered with the name, Mary, and come in pastel shades of yellow, pink, purple, blue, and tan. The pink hanky has a pierced hem, all other hankies have a rolled hem.
This lot makes an excellent, collectible gift.
Measurements ~ approximately 11.5" square.
Dates ~ mid-century, c1960.
Origins ~ the Philippines.
Hallmarks ~ the purple hanky retains is original, paper label, as seen in pictures. All other hankies are unmarked.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. This lot shows little evidence of age or use.
Notes on Condition of Linens ~ Linens offered here are more than 20 years old and have been loved. While linens are clean, they not been recently laundered, spot treated, or pressed prior to shipping. Linens may be creased from storage. These great old beauties just need a little TLC.
