Black Art Nouveau Drawstring Bead Purse Reticule Red Blue Antique Bag Vintage Fashion Handbag Gift
This amazingly decorative, Art Nouveau beaded handbag is done in black on black fabric, is designed with a sophisticated, floral pattern in greens, blues, and reds, and is finished with a drawstring.
Measurements ~ approximately 6" x 6.5" with about an 8" string.
Dates ~ c1910.
Hallmarks ~ unmarked, as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Good: pre-owned vintage/antique. As can be seen in the pictures, the crocheted hem of the drawstring is showing significant signs of age (look below the purse in the last picture), and most likely will need repair. This piece is also missing beads, but they are hard to notice within this bag's intricate pattern. This piece most likely is best for display and still makes a wonderful collectible.
