Bakelite Bongo Drum Player Figural Brooch Vintage Fashion Jewelry
What a hard-to-find treasure, this spectacular brooch is designed as a drum player with lovely enameled colors, and finished in gold tones. This piece weakly tests positive for bakelite on the drum under the 409 test.

This piece has been mistakenly attributed to Charles Worth, who was an English courtier alive from the mid-late 1800s. However, these figurals are still highly collectible.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage. While there is some wear to the enamel, as can be seen in the pictures, this piece shows little other evidence of age or use.
