This wonderful toby jug by Artone England is done in the likeness of Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist character, Artful Dodger, and is simply darling!
Measurements ~ approximately 3" tall by 1.75" wide at the base.
Pattern/Dates ~ late-century, c1970.
Artone was in production from about 1946-1993.
Hallmarks ~ stamped "Artone England Hand Painted" and impressed "Artful Dodger", as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. This piece shows little evidence of age or use, and displays phenomenally.
