Art Deco Purse Antique Filigree Openwork Bead Handbag Metal Frame Bag Vintage Fashion Gift
This amazing, unique, and highly decorative, purse is designed with the most stunning, Art Deco, beaded motif in blue, black, green, pale yellow, and red. This piece is round in shape, is embellished with one of the fanciest, filigree openwork, metal frames I have seen, and is finished with a beaded ball chain. A lot of skill went into the making of this piece, and this purse is a showstopper.
Measurements ~ approximately 6" x 5.5" with a 13" beaded ball chain.
Dates ~ c1910.
Hallmarks ~ unmarked, as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Great: pre-owned vintage/antique. As can be seen in the last picture, the hand-stitching attaching the frame to the bag needs repair. However, this piece is a unique & excellent example of antique beaded purses and would make the most wonderful addition to any collection.
