Art Deco Diamante Duette Brooch Bar Pin Dress Shoe Clip Vintage Jewelry
Description ~ this magnificent duette is decorated with sparkling crystal rhinestones in a variety of shapes, and is finished in silver tones. This piece is multi-functional and can be used as both a brooch and as a shoe/dress clip.
Measurements ~ 3.25" long when connected; each clip measures approximately 1.75" x 1.5".

Markings ~ the clip is marked with both Pat 2161668 and Pat 1945268. While I can not find any attribution for Pat 1945268, I do find the patent information of 2161668, assigned to Joseph P Whitaker in 1937 (see last picture).
Condition ~ Excellent, pre-owned vintage: this piece shows little evidence of age or use. All materials are present, clear, and chip/flake free; the hardware is in good, working order.
