Antique Composition Human Haired Toy Doll 21" Sleepy Eyed Original Socks Vintage 1910s Gift
This wonderful, composition dolls has real human hair, which is done in braids and tied up. She is wearing her original dress and underclothes, and retains her original shoes and socks. She is cloth bodied with a composition head and limbs, and is sleepy-eyed. She is simply delightful and quite a display collectible.
Measurements ~ approximately 21".
Dates ~ c1910.
Hallmarks ~ unmarked.
Condition ~ Good: pre-owned vintage/antique. As can be seen in the pictures, this doll is in need of a loving home, some TLC, and a really good bath. As can be seen in her legs, she is experiencing loss of her skin coating. Her socks are in tatters, but her clothing, outside of being dirty, is in good shape. Her eyes have yellowed, as is common w/age. There is damage to the digits on one hand. No holes in her cloth body have been found.
This doll is a rare find.
