Ahrenfeldt Limoges Plate with Roman / Greek Angelina Kauffmann Decoration, Vintage
This fantastic mid-century Limoges plate by C. Ahrenfeldt honors a painting by 19th century history artist, Angelina Kauffmann. This piece is also rimmed in pink roses and gold gild.
Measurements ~ approximately 10" across.
Dates ~ c1930.
Hallmarks ~ marked "C. Ahrenfeldt Limoges" on the back and "Angelina Kauffmann" under the painting, as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. While there is crazing present, this piece shows little other evidence of age or use. It does display wonderfully.
