Vintage University Student Pottery ~ Handmade Studio Tea Bowl - C596
Description ~ this gorgeous, thrown stoneware tea bowl w/a stunning white and blue glaze comes out of the Midwest/West (per estate liquidator) - while the glaze may be a commercial glaze and not made by the student, this piece has w/a nice abstract, art design and is both ribbed and footed - the estate appraiser was unsure which particular pots came from South Dakota and which came from North Dakota, Idaho, Ohio or Utah (there was a huge, 50+ piece collection of University Pottery at this particular estate) - University Student Pottery was created by students for the University Art or Ceramics Department, or a University Co-op

Hallmarks ~ impressed w/several stamps as seen in pictures
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage - this piece shows little evidence of age, use or wear and is chip/flake/crazing free; shelf wear is minor.
