Vintage Dinnerware by Noritake Japan ~ Floral Square Plate
Description ~ such a darling, dainty plate by Noritake w/a gorgeous pattern of delicate purple, yellow, and pink flowers and a square shape - probably either a cake or bread and butter plate.
Highly collectible and displays absolutely wonderfully; perfect for set matching and completion or the Noritake collector.
Measurements ~ approximately 6.5" across
Pattern / Dates ~ late-century, 1962; pattern unidentified - The conglomerate that is the present day Noritake company can trace its origins back to the New York based trading company founding by the Morimura Brothers in 1876 - today this company still produces high quality and decorative dinnerware w/a rich, supporting history.
Hallmarks ~ marked as seen in the pictures
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage - this piece shows little evidence of age or use, and is chip/flake free; shelf wear is minimal, if present at all.
