This fantastic compact was probably presented as gift during a special gathering or occasion. Done in brushed gold with the Shriner's symbol, and accented in polished gold, this piece is the rare find and very collectible!
The compact comes w/a mirror, powder puff, and the original sifter.
Measurements ~ approximately 2.75" x 2 3/8".
Dates ~ c1960.
Hallmarks ~ engraved "Tangier Temple Traf Wurdeman Potentate 1960", as seen in pictures.
Condition ~ Excellent: pre-owned vintage/antique. This piece shows some minor use marks (it's probably storage/shelf wear) and little other evidence of age or use. The inside appears untouched and unused; the powder is a bit crumbly.
